The Hawaii House of Representatives announced its leadership Monday with a familiar name at the top of the list.

The Hawaii House of Representatives announced its leadership Monday with a familiar name at the top of the list.

The Majority Caucus reaffirmed Rep. Joseph M. Souki as House Speaker for the upcoming legislative session. He was re-elected as Speaker back in 2013 after formerly holding the position from 1993-1999. Souki also served as Speaker Emeritus between 2000-2013.

Serving as Speaker Emeritus in 2017 will be Rep. Calvin K.Y. Say.

The rest of the House leadership is as follows:

Vice Speaker: Rep. John M. Mizuno

Majority Leader: Rep. Scott K. Saiki

Majority Floor Leader: Rep. Cindy Evans

Majority Whip: Rep. Ken Ito
